Help a Sista’/Brother Out Ministries
Help a Sista’ Out/ I am My Brother’s Keeper Ministries
was founded in the Twin Cities in 2005 with the idea of helping women to rise above their circumstances. In September of 2013 we incorporated the I am My Brother’s Keeper into the ministry. Life can sometimes throw you a blow that knocks you down and you find yourself not having the courage or faith to get back up again.
Our endeavor is to reach out a helping hand to help pull our sisters and brothers up and to show them a better way. Sometimes you just need someone to walk with you for support, teach you a different life and to pray you through.
The word of the Lord says, “Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.” Matt 11:28-30
Though we are not Jesus we are His hands and feet. God has brought us all out of something through His grace for us to go back and to minister His grace to someone else.
That is what we do here at Help a Sista’ Out/I am My Brother’s Keeper Ministries. We have a ten week program using the holistic hardware “a comprehensive program for personal change” (a life and job skills program for restoring lives in crisis)
- Self Esteem
